Itch keeps telling me to a do a dev log so why not? 

New game today! It's a dinosaur game I started writing at the end of January when I marathoned the Jurassic Park movies and decided to come back to now.

The whole conceit is that I love the T-Rex. You know, the one from the original movie who makes an appearance in like all the new movies? And saves the day every single time? And is just the best? Anyway, I love her so this game is dedicated to you, animatronic T-Rex. 

So I'm just going to do a little fake Q&A where I answer hypothetical questions that let me talk about the fun facts and choices with this game.

-Why d4s and d8s? They're the sharpest dice and sharp teeth need sharp dice. 

-Why a pool mechanic? I love a good dice pool. It's satisfying.

-There's no way to "lose"?? Yeah, you're a goshdang T-Rex. You're gonna win eventually. You just are. And you deserve it. 

-There's no fancy Canva made document? I wrote 95% of this game last night and this morning. I had one started but didn't have time to finish it and still release this game in time. I'll release it soon.

-Anything else?  Originally I called this Tyrannosaurus Regina because the inspiration is of course a female dino, but then I heard Florence + the Machine's King and quickly changed my mind somewhere between when I jotted down notes for this and when I actually wrote it all out.

Also I really hate random tables 😭 why do I keep doing them to myself??
